Supporters
Welcome to Eastside Academy! We are an alternative, independent school for students who have not found value or meaning in traditional school environments. Our desire is to walk alongside students as they restore their sense of identity, purpose, trust, and hope. Change happens here!
This positive change happens through a program specifically designed to support and inspire students in three areas: Learning, Counseling, and Housing. Each of these areas is committed to working together in an integrated way to provide stability and consistency so that students remember the joy that comes with discovering their gifts, enjoying healthy relationships, and striving towards a fulfilling future.
Students often come to Eastside Academy from challenging, vulnerable situations. They feel lost and untethered, and they need our help. We are committed to serving all students who will benefit from EA’s program, regardless of their financial circumstances. That means we rely on financial support from individuals, organizations, and foundations to embrace our mission and selflessly invest their resources so that these students’ lives may be transformed. I invite you to visit our Giving and Get Involved pages to learn more about the pathways and methods to support EA!
We thank you for visiting our EA website and I hope you will take the time to learn more. If we can answer any questions or discuss how you can support our program, please contact Interim Executive Director Aaron Monts!

Everyone here in this community at Eastside Academy they didn't need to love me, they didn't need to care for me, they didn't need to have a hope for my future. They chose to do that for me.
Ruby, Class of '14
Eastside Academy helped me realize my potential. They really helped me feel like I could be successful, that I could be somebody. I didn’t have too much faith in myself before EA.
Daniel, Class of '07
Before Eastside Academy I struggled a lot with my mental health. But they really brought me out of my shell and made me more comfortable in my classes because of how small they are.
Leo, Class of '20
I have a lot of big goals for myself. I want to help other people the way I have been helped here at EA.
